Shrey Agarwal
Shrey Agarwal is an Indian climate-tech entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Alt Carbon. He is building carbon removal infrastructure in South Asia using enhanced rock weathering, biochar, geochemical science and field data systems. Shrey co-founded Alt Carbon with his brother Sparsh Agarwal, drawing on their family's tea-growing roots in Darjeeling. The company began by turning climate-stressed tea estates into sites for enhanced rock weathering and has since expanded into broader carbon removal infrastructure and biochar projects.
