Prasanta Sarkar
Prasanta Sarkar is an Indian climate-tech entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Newtrace. He works on green hydrogen technologies aimed at making industrial hydrogen production more efficient and affordable. Prasanta co-founded Newtrace to tackle one of green hydrogen's main challenges, electrolyzer cost and performance. The company combines electrochemistry, electrode engineering and scalable manufacturing to improve alkaline electrolysis systems for industrial deployment.
